Adam Feibelman is a San Francisco-based artist best known for his incredibly intricate stencil and cut paper-based works. Educated at the California College of Arts, he received the Yozo Hamaguchi award in printmaking. These days, he has begun translating his paper works into metal works for large public projects, including eight pieces at the 49er’s Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA and a 173-linear foot, cut-steel, permanent installation t the Chase Center, the new home stadium for the Golden State Warriors. Webster Collection is showing a new collection of Adam’s work, a series of paintings. Reducing his stencils to basic shapes, Adam has taken to revisiting the layered approach of his earlier works, but now informed by an experienced lens and an intention of finding new ways to express his world view.
